Thanks Donna. I'm into clarity too but I thought that this was just "artsy" enough to make for an interesting image. I like to think that we all have an accidental image like this on our computer where we forgot to reset our camera settings. Thank God for the digital age. It gives us the freedom to try new things. It's clear the seagull has simply outwitted you, Dan. He knows nothing about shutter speed--only the speed of the world in which he lives, and you caught that. To me, this works in that respect. I also like the gold you captured on the wave. It frames the seagull and echoes the color of his bill (though with sheen). Keeper. v

Just the right amount of blur. Everything is recognizable, but it shows the speed of flight.
