A VFA-106 F/A-18E/F Super Hornet performs a touch and go at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Strike Fighter Squadron 106 (VFA-106), also known as the "Gladiators", is a United States Navy F/A-18 Hornet and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet Fleet Replacement Squadron stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia.
About Dan Myers
Born and raised in Iowa, I served in the United States Navy for 24 years before finally retiring to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I currently work as an air traffic controller at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, PA. I've always had an interest in photography, especially aviation; and now that digital has arrived, I enjoy capturing the images that I've always passed on because of the cost and my lack of experience. I hope that my images might inspire someone to stop for a moment, look around, and enjoy the beauty around them. You never know what you might see.
