Summer Sunday afternoons is a great time for Amish teenagers to meet up with friends and "joy ride" around Lancaster County in courting buggies. My wife and I happened upon this group as they drove past the Herr's Mill Covered Bridge east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
About Dan Myers
Born and raised in Iowa, I served in the United States Navy for 24 years before finally retiring to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I currently work as an air traffic controller at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, PA. I've always had an interest in photography, especially aviation; and now that digital has arrived, I enjoy capturing the images that I've always passed on because of the cost and my lack of experience. I hope that my images might inspire someone to stop for a moment, look around, and enjoy the beauty around them. You never know what you might see.
