Artist's Description
An HDR image of the beautifully ornate interior of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Wilmington, Delaware. The cornerstone of this church was laid on May 1, 1890 and the first service was held on January 29, 1891. The stained glass window at the altar was made in the Tiffany Studios in New York sometime between 1890 and 1900. The original wood floor was recently renovated and replaced with this beautiful marble floor that made for a beautiful reflection of the altar area.

Born and raised in Iowa, I served in the United States Navy for 24 years before finally retiring to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I currently work as an air traffic controller at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, PA. I've always had an interest in photography, especially aviation; and now that digital has arrived, I enjoy capturing the images that I've always passed on because of the cost and my lack of experience. I hope that my images might inspire someone to stop for a moment, look around, and enjoy the beauty around them. You never know what you might see.
