Artist's Description
Probably my favorite image of this covered bridge outside of Strasburg, Pennsylvania, USA. I had gotten up before dawn on a Sunday morning to try to catch an image of a covered bridge in the early morning light and maybe an Amish buggy or two. I had to wait a couple of hours, but I finally captured the image I was hoping for.
About Dan Myers
Born and raised in Iowa, I served in the United States Navy for 24 years before finally retiring to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I currently work as an air traffic controller at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, PA. I've always had an interest in photography, especially aviation; and now that digital has arrived, I enjoy capturing the images that I've always passed on because of the cost and my lack of experience. I hope that my images might inspire someone to stop for a moment, look around, and enjoy the beauty around them. You never know what you might see. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your visit. Feel free to contact me at dancin1995@comcast.net if you have any questions.
