Born and raised in Iowa, I served in the United States Navy for 24 years before finally retiring to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I currently work as an air traffic controller at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, PA. I've always had an interest in photography, especially aviation; and now that digital has arrived, I enjoy capturing the images that I've always passed on because of the cost and my lack of experience. I hope that my images might inspire someone to stop for a moment, look around, and enjoy the beauty around them. You never know what you might see. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your visit. Feel free to contact me at dancin1995@comcast.net if you have any questions.

Dan, Very nice!! I took a photo of this ferris wheel 2 days ago, late afternoon and before I saw this photo. Needless to say my image is nowhere near as great as this. V Mary Beth Landis
Dan Myers replied:
Thanks, Mary Beth!! I'm glad you like it. I've tried this same angle a couple of times since then, but it has never worked out. Take care.
