The Annisquam Harbor Light Station is located on Wigwam Point in Gloucester, Massachusetts where the Annisquam River meets Ipswich Bay. A tough image to capture at low tide, it did allow me the opportunity to add some interesting landscape features to my image.

Born and raised in Iowa, I served in the United States Navy for 24 years before finally retiring to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where I currently work as an air traffic controller at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, PA. I've always had an interest in photography, especially aviation; and now that digital has arrived, I enjoy capturing the images that I've always passed on because of the cost and my lack of experience. I hope that my images might inspire someone to stop for a moment, look around, and enjoy the beauty around them. You never know what you might see. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your visit. Feel free to contact me at dancin1995@comcast.net if you have any questions.

I like the low tide view. The seaweed adds a whole new point of view to the photo--lots of texture. The shades of color and size of the boulders really catch the eye--reminds me of the rocks along the harbor at Grand Marias, MN. Thank you for sharing an interesting photo with me.
